Welcome folks. Sure we hear the bullshit everyday about how much people hate lawyers. Hell, I am one and I hate lawyers some days. What this blog is about is trying to overcome that image of lawyers being thieving greedy bastards. Some of this is well deserved by the case-running-advertise- every- minute ambulance chasers and by the hypocritical bigoted mega-firms who bill, bill, bill and to hell what the right thing to do is and just pad the billing, but the point being is that mainly special interest groups and insurance companies have done a great job of separating good old fashioned clients like John Q. Public from lawyers and made them want to string every lawyer up. For those of you who don't believe me read some Shakespeare and understand what "First, kill all the lawyers" really means.
From horrible lawyer jokes we have to endure to the horrible job outlook for most of us who didn't finish top 10 at an Ivy league school or don't have our ass up some partner's ass, WE ARE IN CRISIS. This site is mainly set up to explore ways that young and old lawyers and law students can join together and just vent and share and the anonymous button is on. And let's lay out the bullshit because I've tried my share of cases: 1st Amendment and I have the anonymous button on: I have the right to take it down and I have the right to leave it up, but what you post is on you so BE AS NICE AS WE CAN BE.
Bottomline is welcome my fell BLAWGERS (Bloggers with a law degree or getting one...LMAO). And if you're a JOhn Houseman button down WS type or some pansey ass feemaker who can't take a joke get the fuck out of dodge so the rest of us can blawg in piece.
